United Way of Lake County won two awards Wednesday at the ninth annual Lake Communicators APEX Awards ceremony.
With the help of efforts led by two of our volunteers, Tom Ruffner – a United Way Board member – and Dick Fraser – a campaign cabinet member, United Way of Lake County took home awards in the categories of Annual Reports and Mixed Media Campaigns.
The awards were given for United Way of Lake County’s 2010 Community Report and 2011 campaign materials, which included the organization’s brochure, posters, video and employee campaign information envelopes. Many of the materials included photos taken by volunteer Skip Trombetti of Van’s Photo and the materials were printed by Activities Press.
This is the second year United Way of Lake County has been honored for its marketing materials.
