Rivalry week kicks-off today between Eastlake North and Willoughby South high schools.
The
two schools will compete on the football field Friday night at South
High School at 7 p.m. but off the field, the two schools will spend each
day this week raising money for United Way of Lake County through
creative fundraisers.
Events taking place this week
will be students duct-taping their principals to the wall, dunking
their teachers in a dunk tank, throwing pies in teachers' faces,
stalling their teachers so they cannot start class until all the change
students brought in is counted, etc. All for the good of their own
community!
The school that raises the most money
for United Way of Lake County will be announced at half time during
Friday night's football game.
Good luck to both schools and thank you so much for getting involved!
Kirtland
Elementary School is also raising money for United Way of Lake County
on Tuesday where teachers will decorate pumpkins and students will vote
for their favorite pumpkin by purchasing a raffle ticket.
